PET is also known as polyethylene terephthalate, which is the chemical name for polyester.
PET is clear and highly flexible and can be processed to become semi-rigid to rigid. The plastic is a very energy efficient packaging material and has excellent chemical properties such as resistance to impact, moisture, alcohols and solvents.
PET is a clear, strong, and lightweight plastic that is widely used for packaging foods and beverages. It is also popular for containers and packaging for peanut butter, oils, mouthwash, liquid soap, household cleaner, as well as automobile parts.

What is APET?
APET (Amorphous-polyethylene terephthalate) is a non-toxic thermoplastic which can be converted to a broader variety of applications. APET is composed of hydrogen, carbon and oxygen elements. This composition means that there are no aggressive or toxic gases emitted when it is heated or burned. It is also odor-free. As a result, A-PET is an economic and environmentally friendly alternative to PVC.
What is RPET?
RPET stands for recycled-polyethylene terephthalate, or recycled PET. RPET is produced by collecting, sorting and recycling PET, then breakdown the material into flakes which then can be turned into new products.
